NEWS:  Breakfast is included and there are no credit card fees for direct booking via this site. During high Season's we have a 3 nights minimum stay policy.

AIRFIJI AND LULUTAI THE LOCAL AIRLINE :

The best way as of 2023 to get to Vava'u is to arrive via Fiji with Airfiji. They fly directly to Vava'u at least two times per week. This way you can book your travel all the way through via sites like Expedia, your local travel agent or with Airfiji directly all the way. All flights dont always match though so on some days it could be faster via the main island of Tonga and the local airline. 

The Tongan Government has during the pandemic taken over the local airline in all of Tonga (Now called Lulutai) and have not yet managed to create an online booking system or a website. They only have a Facebook page where they post information so getting tickets might take a day. If you want to come and stay with us but are experiencing problems getting in touch with them please feel free to email us directly and we can help you with emails to their booking staff and also help with secured payments if needed.  

GENERAL COVID INFO: As of beginning of April 2023 there are NO Covid restrictions for visiting Tonga, some nations do need visas but there are no vaccination required to visit.   

POLICIES: Booking can be difficult and expensive. Like many other hotels and resorts we also have specials, discounts and non refundable rates. If you book directly with us please feel free to ask for cancellation fees and policies. In short, no payments will be refunded, be it deposits or full payments except if you book a fully refundable rate. We will be giving everyone the payment done as credit for future stays (usually within two years) The credit can only be used on accommodation not for transfers or meals and if there is a rate change on the new desired booking dates the clients have to pay the difference. 

Please note that if you book via other booking systems like booking. or Expedia your booking policies will be what is on those sites and if you have to cancel you have to do it via them not directly with us. 

MYSTIC SANDS INFORMATION:

We are located in an outer island in the Kingdom of Tonga called Vava'u. There are direct flights here from Fiji and from the main island of Tonga called Tongatapu. At Mystic Sands we only have 8 rooms so you will get great and personal service. We can make any meals required, you can cook yourself or go out to restaurants, the options are all there to make your holiday with us special. We have great snorkeling right here, several Free double and single kayaks, Free Wifi, infinity pool and other games and activities are available.  Families are welcome and extra beds are available.

There is a quality restaurant nearby and town with it's restaurants are only 10 min away (24H Taxi available).
